Amy Gehm genuinely cares about her clients and provides exceptional guidance and support during what is often an emotionally-charged time in their lives. She has devoted her practice exclusively to family law matters since 1998, has handled hundreds of divorce and family law cases, and became board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 2002. A skilled and seasoned advocate in the courtroom, Ms. Gehm also is committed to collaborative law and is a charter member of The Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
Ms. Gehm graduated from South Texas College of Law, cum laude in 1992. After graduation, she was employed by the office of the Attorney General, the Texas Department of Insurance, and spent six years with the Law Office of Jennifer Tull before establishing her own practice.
A wife and mother of two, Amy draws upon both her professional and personal experience to guide families through difficult and challenging times.
Amy Gehm was selected as a Texas Monthly "Rising Star" attorney in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. Recipients of this award must be under 40 years of age or have been practicing law for 10 years or less. Fewer than 2.5% of Texas attorneys have received the Texas Monthly "Rising Star" designation.
